There is literally no better example of textbook fascistic thinking than "Who cares about human rights when the rich are doing so very well"
The halftime show was the best part by a mile.
Was already leaning that way. Now I’m all in.
This country is spiraling man. Disgusting stuff.
"I'm coming to Boston and I'm bringing hell with me."
--Homan in February
"Do I expect violence to escalate? Absolutely."
-- Tom Homan in March
"I actually thought about getting up and throwing that man a beating right there in the middle of the room"
-- Homan in July, referring to a D congressman
With how things have gone the last few years and especially this year? Definitely. I’ll always love him, but he’s also part of the reason we’ve gotten to this point. Bailing now will honestly make me lose respect for him when he’s always preached loyalty and fighting through the struggle.
ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.
We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.
That's just since New Year’s Eve. If you aren't mad yet, you aren't paying attention.
It’s like some people just want the game to be as sterile as possible lol.
I understand, but I just don’t see how this Patriots team keeps up with either of these teams. I don’t really care though.
Any given Sunday I guess, but I don’t think the Patriots stand a chance against either of these teams.
Matt and Sean are bestest of friends. It shows.
Walz: "To Americans who are watching this, I've got a question for you: What side do you want to be on? The side of an all powerful federal govt that can kill, injury, menace, & kidnap its citizens off the streets? Or on the side of a nurse at the VA hospital who died bearing witness to such govt?"
Yea… really makes me wish I could just go back to bed.
Not really sure I like this, but I’ll just wait and see because I don’t really have any expectations from a MLF led team anymore anyway.
Still just angry.
Statement from Michael and Susan Pretti Parents of Alex Jeffrey Pretti “We are heartbroken but also very angry. Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately, he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the ‘hero’ term lightly. However, his last thought and act was to protect a woman. The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He had his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down, all while being pepper sprayed. Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you.
Kare 11 local news just read, in full, this statement from Michael and Susan Pretti, the parents of Alex Pretti.
"Please get the truth out about our son."
Holy crap.
This is the most damning video yet.
It shows Border Patrol agents clearly taking Alex's firearm, running it away, and THEN executed him in cold blood by emptying a clip into his face.
Murder.
A nurse. A researcher. A helper.
Alex Pretti, the man killed by federal agents today in Minneapolis, appears to have been a registered nurse, an athlete, a son and a brother, with ties to Colorado and Wisconsin.
Here is a photo he used for several accounts.
The people who'll tell you today's murder victim in Minnesota shouldn't have turned up to a protest carrying a gun are the same people who said Kyle Rittenhouse was perfectly entitled to do the same thing.
Seems relevant to bring up that 11 days ago DHS tweeted this
It’s really sad that this feels like an understatement at the moment, but that’s where we’re at with this country unfortunately. Literally makes me sick.
