I used primarily VI starting some years ago and still pretty much do currently. These days though I bounce between Synchron and VI for the string patches because they both have nice sounds.

Been trying to pin down a term for that gothic cartoonish style that characterizes older media. Like older Tim Burton films, Coraline, etc.
