Thereβs a certain poetry in the prospect of the Telegraph being sold to the Germans. Nice to see a bit of European unification. I do hope this comes off, if only to see the bluster that will arise from its readership

We're being sued for libel by a London businessman who thinks he can bully us into taking down a @londonermag.bsky.social story about him. He's wrong!

Lovely to see the Hereford Times is still out there.
Ceefax holidays? Wtf? Wrong channel.
The person grumbling about the new fancy Lego smart bricks in this article immediately loses any credibility by referring to them as Legos. Probably says math too. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Having a crack at the most ridiculous smoked ham I picked up at Smithfield on Christmas Eve.
Couldnβt disagree more. Contactless payment on the tube is gloriously simple and fast. Still think itβs a minor miracle of the modern age. No queuing to buy tickets. No coins, change, no fishing around to find your ticket at the gate. All works seamlessly via your phone or watch.
Top fact: The writer of Edge of Darkness was the elder brother of the creator of the sweeney.

Quite possibly the most βdadβ link Iβve ever posted , this Prodigy medley being played by the band of the Royal Marines is just on the edge of being quite amazing. Imagine the bastard spawn of Keith Flint and John Barry. youtu.be/FJBdGTN56rU?...
Itβs really rather good. Still have fond memories of a deeply silly promo you did for our adtech company around 10 years ago.
Whatever your views on the late Charlie Kirk (and I do indeed have views on the late etc), please donβt post videos of his death. Theyβre out there, Iβve seen them (yeah thanks, autoplay), and some of us have complex ptsd to live with, while others just donβt want to see someone getting shot dead.
Same, watched this the other day. Itβs a pleasingly silly mission and the seriousness with which he commits to it really gets you invested.
Please god let him be dead.
Many years ago some enterprising soul carved the word βFROTTAGEβ into a hornbeam in Highgate Woods. This pic is from 2020, itβs almost disappeared now.
How terribly sad and wrong. As you say, fuck cancer. A lovely tribute.
Quite looking forward to Project Hail Mary youtu.be/m08TxIsFTRI?...
I miss my old gameboy. Such a brilliant little machine. Still got a 2002 PSP floating around somewhere and a DS, might have to resuscitate them.
Unbelievable

I was lucky enough to dine at the restaurant in 2015 when they opened it for the 50th anniversary. Such a remarkable building.

Agreed. DCO can be done so much better than this.
βThe Golden Age of pDOOH is comingβ says Andrew Tindall, SVP Global Partnerships, System1
"The brands that win in this space will be the ones that understand pDOOH isnβt just another targeting tool"

Crikey. That is deeply chilly. Was up on Cairngorm last June when it got a bit nippy but nothing like as extreme as that looks.
Happy Christmas to you all. Itβs a very similar situation in the Mundy household, and I couldnβt be happier. So glad youβre better.
