I particularly like that map at the centre of the game. It plays on the rich space between known things (as a very finite map with cities referencing our world) and the game mysteries (what is at the end of this tunnel? At the center of this maze? At the end of the line? Under the snow?).

I loved this game. Such a gem. And Transarctica form the same team is excellent.

I also think you reach physical limits with 4K, be it resolution or physical scale of the monitor, a bit similar to frame rate in the end: a decent sized monitor in HD with solid constant frame rate is a sweet spot.
The graphic race of the 90’ an 00’ has ended there.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one dwelling on negative reviews for years. Although, don’t really understand that first article. Isn’t Frankenstein all about butchery, dismemberment and the consequences of creative rebuilding? It’s sort of a paradoxical praise.
