Then exactly 5 weeks after finishing the full distance, i figured i was fit enough to aim for a new PR on the marathon.. my aim was hitting a 3h10m, but like an amateur i bonked HARD around the 32Km mark.. this pic was my darkest moment 😂 i ended up finishing 3h19m! Next year the goal is a sub 3h..
Last year i did my first full distance iron man, but raceweek was hit by a heat wave.. so not the race i was hoping for. This year i was dead set on finishing the half distance under 5 hour, and the full distance under 10 hour.. i made the half one in 4h57m, and the full distance in 10h:07m 😅
Next to making games, i love endurance sports! This was my biggest year so far with lots of triathlons! 1 olympic distance, 2 half iron mans and 1 full distance iron man as my main race.. then ended the season with the amsterdam marathon. It sounds weird, but the long workouts for this keeps me sane

Beyond excited that LEGO Horizon Adventures made the BAFTA Game Awards longlist for the animation category 😱 it also got on the longlist for the familiy, multiplayer and british game categorys.. 🥳 #bafta #legohorizonadventureso
At the end of the night after spending a couple of hours talking, i finally had the courage to ask him for a scar sketch. he was kind of enough to do it, and also threw in a Roger sketch 😱 they say don’t meet your heroes, but in this case i’m glad i did (as you can see from my smile)
I met him last year at the View Conference in Italy.. we were both speakers there, and was lucky to have a spot at the same table during dinner the second night! I was nervous as hell and got a little starstruck, but he was insanely kind and approachable..
Finally framed these sketches i got from Disney legend Andreas Deja last year.. time to display them properly
