There is a forest seen behind the building in the upper right corner. The building has white walls and a red roof. It is referenced from a photo of St. Peter's Church in Starigrad (Croatia). The picture has a quiet, late summer/early autumn feeling to it (well, at least to me it does lmao). The juxtaposition of the person with a dagger and the quiet meadow raise uncertainty of the true mood of this image.
In October's experiment, I wanted to do a mixture between a grittier fantasy feel, and a storybook illustration. I really like the result, the palette feels nostalgic, and I'm happy that I'm finally getting better at remembering to use my photos.
