My point is that there are 45,000 interpretation traditions for a book thought of as the definitive word of god. It took us 7 canons to agree on which books to include in the New Testament. Even if we group the denominations into larger buckets, we've fought literal wars over how it's interpreted.

It's hysterical that christians believe the bible as the one, true word of god but then created over 45,000 denominations that interpret the bible differently. Which of the 45,000 versions of christianity is the right one? I would like to think god would have trimmed the number down to, IDK, one???
