Is anyone else still working through their Christmas cheese?
I spent too long last week re-fitting some tubeless tyres for a customer, dried sealant and bad seals. Finally got them to hold air and put them on the bike. They are too big for the mudguards. FFS π€¬
In a different age he would be offered a whisky and a revolver
A rare day on a commuter train, off to learn stuff. Against my better judgement I bought a takeaway coffee. Can the chains please accept that a "small" cup is still too big for a cappuccino
I already smell of beer, apparently
That market is female smell focused
Do they ship to the UK?
I have a subscription to some smelly soaps. The company is a smaller US brand. I was going to cancel but I noticed they are from California, part of the Rebel Alliance (?). Do I cancel?
As a Dave, I feel hard for l done by that we seem to have skipped Storm Dave that was scheduled for some time this season. #stormingrid
Watched One Battle after Another, a great film. A few years ago a story about a white supremacist federal agents chasing down libs might be considered a distopian fantasy. It now looks like a docu-drama
After 30 years my JBW speakers packed up following my amp last year. I treated myself to some Fyne speakers and they sound superb.
Are these creatures in black robes and riding horses?
High initial cost and high fix costs but lower incidence of maintenance
Yes, the derailleur is still low down,
I wish I had a hoist. Spent most of my afternoon on my knees
A long way from catastrophic but well past what I preach. Working on the e-cargo bike is a lot more effort than a regular bike. Shimano Deore shifters are bomb proof.
Most impressed that after 10k miles the wheel bearings are still sweet
All day fixing other people's bikes means my own bikes get neglected.
Finally had to give the @ternbicycles GSD some attention, new chainring, chain, gear cable, cassette and a free hub and rear mech clean.
There is lots of speculation that the US Air force build up in the UK is in preparation for a Greenland attack. If this Government allows the UK to be platform for such a venture, I will be out in the streets with the millions of others.
I'll second silk liners, exponential improvement in the thermal properties of any glove
It was too late to switch plans to the road bike. Took the cargo bike to the pub to meet my cousin, at least
No mountain bike ride today. Plugged the main battery in last night, didn't notice the charger was disconnected. This is all the range extender can offer π
Too late to get the road bike out
Believe that version if you must
Whilst trimming a brake cable outer, the cut part flew straight up my nostril. As far as I can tell it's still up there. π³

Wins for today: saving Β£2 on my haircut
Losses for today: he charged me the OAP rate
On the upside, he came 2nd in the U23 race and 6th overall
It's more than language, it's the disrespect and entitlement
Well, he's on his own until his attitude improves. No doubt, having to ride a muddy CX race with only one bike, it's my fault if he doesn't do well. The twist is that this is my fault for getting angry at his behaviour. Making him clean his bike and pick up my tools off the lawn is bullying
Despite me finding the races, entering the races, paying for the races, driving him, being the pit crew, buying/building the bikes, providing unlimited parts and a complete workshop, and filming socials. Its become my hobby, I don't get to ride myself because weekends are racing for him.
10yrs I've been taking my 18yo son to bike races, this is the first time I've refused. Why? The last race, National CX, was the last straw, F*ck, Pr*ck, C*nt were all used by the ungrateful sod as we prepared for the races over the last couple of years, and I've had enough.
