It might lead to the US starting another war.

The fact that the Epstein Estate ACTUALLY PAID a settlement to one of the women who alleged that Donald Trump raped her as a minor, and it was paid AFTER Epstein died, as told under oath by Epstein's longtime accountant, should be a more significant story.

It takes a colossal amount of hubris, idiocy, and shamelessness to state something as asinine as that. So for four long Trump years we did not do anything about this 47 year conflict. Neither did we for one very long second Trump year. Not until allegations of rape of a 13-year old surfaced.

There are very good reasons for this unnecessary war even if not good for us.

High oil price is good for failing Russia
US attacking Iran is good for failing Netanyahu
Foreign war against longtime foe is good to distract from accusations of child rape.
War is good for arms industry.

Maybe this flawed explanation is the counterpart of the equally flawed explanation for why some people are so successful and others not. Just dumb bad or good luck of being born in a certain place at a certain time. But rich people do not like to admit they might just have been very lucky.
