North Tehran’s Aqdasiyeh oil depot is ablaze tonight after it was targeted by multiple US-Israeli airstrikes. Apocalyptic scenes filmed by Iranians driving on the nearby highway. Local reporters saying firefighters can’t put it out. This depot is critical energy infrastructure for Iran.
Reporter: Did the US bomb an elementary school and kill 175 people?
Trump: Based on what I’ve seen, it was done by Iran.
Reporter: Is that true Mr. Hegseth?
Hegseth: We’re investigating.
Trump: They are very inaccurate with their munitions. It was done by Iran.
Trump: "Cuba is in its last moments of life ... but our focus right now is on Iran. Marco will take one hour off and finish up a deal on Cuba. That'll be an easy one."
They really are telegraphing this.
Keep in mind there are still significant US forces in the Caribbean, even after some fighter jets and the Ford carrier strike group were sent to the Middle East.
