In November, something happened at the US-Mexico border, almost certainly for the first time ever. You have to look closely at the chart to see it.
More migrants came to official border crossings, usually with CBP One appointments (green), than were apprehended elsewhere by Border Patrol (blue).

Thought-provoking - moral language makes pro-immigration messages more effective.
Some of these are really small tweaks: a "fairer and more decent" rather than "better and sounder" immigration policy.
(And some are larger, like focusing on a country's values rather than economic benefits).

E7: Grundversorgung: immer wieder föderaler Konfliktpunkt, häufig politisch gewollt desintegrativ gestaltet, weil Integration erst ab Statuserhalt. Achtung bei BL Statistiken ob Ukrain eingerechnet sind; Aufnahmequote bei Asylwerb allein: NÖ, BL schwach, VB, TIR, OÖ stark.
E6: Asylverfahren: es geht um Glaubhaftmachung v Verfolgung, aber in d Praxis Trend hin zu Beweiserbringung. Da spielen auch neue Formen d digitalen Evidenz eine Rolle, z.B. Handyauswertungen. In AT: Fehlerquote des BFA hoch, BVwG entschied 2023 in 47,3% d Fälle im Sinne d Beschwerdeführ
