Don't threaten me with a good time. I barely survived my last "atta boy" at work.
Ah yes, I haven't been very active on social media, but I posted it to the KKUPFL discord and it will release as the your ever to tomorrow morning's Short Shifts. I can add it here as well once I have a chance. Have to do it on mobile thanks to the ol firewall.
Haha, yes! The most Dr. Seussian city name in the country
Oh, why do you suppose that would be?
That's probably the right call
Your second sentence raises a good point. Better to be the one getting vetoed than having to veto it when it goes to another GM...
Hmm, that may be extreme even for Yahoo public. There's a very mechanism? Does it inconvenience you in any way to accept the deal and wait for a probably inevitable veto?
Maybe those three just for Drai would actually make it through?
If it is legal according to the rules of the league, take it first, and then let people figure out what to do. It's Yahoo public, so you're not burning any bridges.

I'm dying to know the trade
Is giving up a SH penalty shot goal and a regular old SHG in the same penalty a new NHL achievement unlocked by the Caps?
No joke, get these bums outta here.
Yep, I'm holding JEEK and Spurgeon rn, Spurg probably is waiver fodder at this point.
I was this close to playing my first night of the season without a top-10 pick on IR. Now I'm hoping I can manage that feat just before playoffs start. Boooooo.
That's the correct choice
Yeah, I think he did a good job making it appealing to the other GM so he could get the guy he wanted. Good work all around.
Among many topics from last night, Elizabeth and I discussed buying low on Brady Tkachuk (0 points in the last 9 games, but shooting more than anyone but Pasta), and one of our patrons pulled it off the next day! Good bit of business if you ask us.

After last night's Raddysh outburst, they're going to have to put me in IR
When your IR is as crowded as mine, gotta embrace the depth heroes
The all-waiver defense
Try not to hurt your shoulder patting yourself on the back if you listened to Friday's show and added Raddysh.
I really like Eklund any time he's lined up with Celebrini. The results last game were an outlier probably, but they are a great combo and I'm into Eklund as long as he's lined up like this.
I don't expect this to last, but you could do a lot worse for a D stream today than Raddysh on PP1, for at least the moment, against Anaheim:
So I get the sense Dubas is saying Jarry has "no injury issues whatsoever" to possibly get someone to take the contact off his hands via waivers. Good luck with all that.
Must be from last night's show. Haven't had the chance to listen yet! I'll check it out.
Drysdale gets on the score sheet with a secondary assist on Michkov's goal. Nice start to this stream.
Adding Drysdale for four games next week (dropped Ersson). Boom or bust in the mold of a Balinskis or Faber, but a bit more established and someone they invested in acquiring so hopefully will get his PP1 time through the week.
PHI aren't going to all give up 6 like ANA, but he's my upside pick.
While I appreciate that Roslovic didn't get injured or scratched like my other recent streams, I don't love the building evidence that my streams are an anti-Midas touch. Betcha can't guess when I added him...
Happy New Year, champs! Hoping 2025 can be a year with fewer injuries. Took two in the final stretch today, that ish needs to be oooooover!
Here's to a 2025 where we can all win a championship at some aspect of our lives, and hockey too if we're lucky.
Kids had a sleepover last night. Lights out/screens off was at 12:30.
I went to bed, but my network of spies did not.
Coach says I should continue never having played hockey.
