B.C. man sentenced to 12 years for 2017 manslaughter of Chelsey Gauthier | CBC News Gary Donald Losch, 70, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison in the 2017 killing of Chelsey Gauthier.

Gary Donald Losch, 70, received 10 years for manslaughter and two years for indignity to human remains, to be served consecutively, and three-and-a-half years' credit for time already served.

For real, really proud of what I was able to do at City. this was just the right time for me to move. Lot of coverage needed in the Valley as we’ve seen an attrition in news orgs. it just makes perfect sense to have a bureau in Abby, a commerce hub for the Valley that’s just growing and changing.

You’ll still find me on the Skytrain though. And fr is someone smoking a brisket on this damn train car right now? Sure smells like it

Great write by Dan Fumano on someone who did so much good in the DTES. I’m deeply sad to know that Trey Helten is gone. Last time I talked to him he was doing yard work with his dog and he dapped me up. RIP.
