I don't think I've ever felt so lost and alone in all my life. And this coming from someone who has lived alone for the last 5 years. When I lost my brother almost 7 years ago it left a hole in my heart.
But with the loss of my Mom, I feel like I've lost so much more.
Today doesn’t feel real. Had to cut my trip short after my brother called me to let me know our Mom passed away unexpectedly. Someone wake me up from this horrible dream 😭😭😭

Decided I'm taking a long weekend for 4th of July this year. Original plan was to go to Gatlinburg but had to pivot so decided to head down to Louisville. If you guessed that I'm doing a bourbon tour you would be correct 🙂 I mean, might as well while I'm down there. 😂

My Bourbon collection continues to grow. Had a nice haul today including 3 that I’ve been searching for awhile now. The exception to the haul is the Flor de Cana which is a rum from Nicaragua.
