That actually is something that should now be fixed. The demo is single player, and there was one edge case where the player 1 wouldn't get a gamepad assigned. For demo, all the gamepads are now forced to player 1, so everything should now work.
Hmm... That's odd. Is there any way to reliably reproduce this? Does this happen in some particular parts of the game?

That current top score is actually pretty damn insane! I have hundreds and hundreds of hours on record and I have MADE this game, and I'm not sure I can beat that 😂
