I was especially blown away by sophie (yerin ha)'s and araminta (katie leung)'s acting throughout bc wow!!! the microexpressions that showcase the complexity & pain in their inner worlds is just *chefs kiss*
they also brought back the signature dreamy quality from s1 (that made bridgerton, bridgerton) but costumes were still egregious 😭 at least less full beat faces + acrylic nails this season

they fixed sm of the writing + characterization issues from last szn, reconnected all plot threads, & I loved the actual high stakes of a forbidden love/yearning, explorations of grief, lens into the class divide, tender family bonding moments, etc.
