I wanted to combine berries, traditional Cherokee basketry, and add my touch of colors to create this painting. 🥺🫶🏼 The visit to Tahlequah, OK for Cherokee National Holiday, last summer, helped me see and learn about my people's basketry.

The Three Sister, Corn, Beans, and Squash, a color mixtures of all sorts of greens, purple, oranges, and yellows for each of the crops. There is brown for the ground and blue for the sky. The mediums I used are Gouache, Acrylic Markers, and Colored Pencils.

Here is the second meal of the Cast Iron Pan series! This dish is cooked Salmon with lemon and garnish. I don't eat salmon too often, but when I do, it's always a good day.

I introduce you to Bun on the Cob! 🌽🐰

Despite being sick, I have come up with more art ideas while I have been resting. I am so excited to feel better and start drawing again.

Ingredients: 1 Box of Rotini Pasta 1 Canned Salmon Handful of Grape Tomatoes 1 Canned Corn 1 Canned Chickpeas Handful of Spinach Dash of Salt Dash of Oil Dash of Milk Parmesan Cheese Spices include Cumin, Ground Ginger, Garlic, Ground Tumeric, Cayenne Pepper, Ground Thyme, and Parsley Flakes on top. • Levels amount of spice is up to you. I was desperate to get better , so I added EXTRA amount of spices. Still tastes very good!

When you are so over being sick that you make a dinner that is HEAVY in spices. It tastes very good, spices are definitely hitting my throat which is needed, and I added pasta into this fufilling mixture. 10/10 would make again.

For those who are curious, I added the ingredients into the alt text. This meal can make 4-5 meals, depending on your bowl size. 🫶🏼🧡
