Grateful to @theguardian.com for covering the most recent @naccomnetwork.bsky.social data briefing which charts the continued increase in homelessness experienced by refugees, people seeking asylum and other migrants, driven by hostile Government policies.
Very proud of the @naccomnetwork.bsky.social team and network for this data launch, but the reading is grim ππ»
In summary: hostile Government policies = increased homelessness for refugees, people seeking asylum and other migrants

This plan for housing is:
- Better for people seeking asylum
- Better for wider communities
- Cheaper for the taxpayer
Letβs use public money to buy quality homes for all people in our communities β not to fill the pockets of the mega wealthy.

Our Director @youngbridget.bsky.social is quoted in this @bigissue.com article about the further extension to the move-on period.
The extension doesn't go far enough, but provides a valuable opportunity to make the case for a permanent extension to 56 days.

Thoroughly recommend a marbled pot plant making workshop followed by a walk on the beach at Whitley Bay as an excellent team building day!
The @naccomnetwork.bsky.social team definitely benefited from some relaxed and creative time together. And always good to get some sand between your toes!
