Fixing the Portal is likely why Shadow and Order is slipping. Those resources went to fixing all the screw ups.

FFXIV used to have long grinds in relic weapons. But they just kinda keep putting less and less effort into it.

The comms don't feel right for a LIVE service game

In my discord we've been having a light competition every week to guess how good the TWID will be on a scale of 1-10.

It was fun for a few weeks but we kept accurately predicting worse and worse TWIDs. It's a bummer.

I woulda played the crap out of that. There's almost nothing in that space for co-op action RPGs with good gameplay.
