Well shit. I have no excuses for not pushing that to the top of my tbr pile sooner. Itβs going to be curdling around my head for a while.
Iβm about 5 years late to Boy Parts by Eliza Clark but holy hellβ¦ I canβt look away
Thatβs so precious!!
Weeping my way through giving One Yellow Eye by Leigh Radford a 5 star rating on goodreads
I agree. The thing thatβs sticking with me is when he said many students are getting extra help with things that would have been βliveable withβ in the past. βLiveable withβ is not thriving! You can live with extreme educational trauma but canβt we aim to avoid that?!
Thank you!
The best age! What a treat
Also - if anyone has any suggestions of further reading linked to the topic Iβd be grateful

1. Attention
2. Pre-Reformation graffiti
3. How the annoying it is that the working class continue to be patronised

These happen to be my favourite niches so that was a delight to read, and I agree completely - although I did love that that modern prayers mirrored ancient prayers through graffiti. Also I love and miss scallops!!
Has anyone got any recommendations for classroom-based assessment resources where I can tailor the assessment to different students and keep track of results? Kahoot-esque but more personalised. Itβs for gcse English, and Iβll take any and all suggestions!
