It is, yes. I knew it was bad before we left, but it's much worse than I thought. The locals are getting pushed away from the beaches. I even read somewhere that only 1 percent of Jamaican beaches are public (can't find any info to support that though). It's horrifying.
Just came back fom Jamaica, which was a blast, but a real eye opener at the same time.
I knew it was something else, but the way that the tourism over there is an Industry, ruining the beaches and local spots like this...it is chilling to the bone.
