Seems as if I was wrong, there was some changing text on their website for the first couple hours it was up that made the release date seem a bit up in the air, but it seems as if they’re sticking with the fall release window.

Nah I couldn’t agree less, the engine of RB2 is unbeatable, every NS engine had some bullshit to it that made a bunch of songs extremely unfun. HMX isn’t immune to engine jank either by any means (ie Trogdor, GGaHT), they always felt a lot more consistent and any top level player would say the same

I will say as someone who has been very vocal about my distaste for what’s there of the game so far, it seems like they’re already delaying the game due to the negative reaction, which is a good thing

With the venues in GH and especially RB, they felt like shows I would want to go to, if I went to the Stage Tour show I feel like it'd be the worst, most stiff, most lifeless concert I'd go to in my life. It just screams "We've never actually played music before".

This game doesn't feel like it was made by musicians. Like you compare the stages in the old Guitar Hero or Rock Band games and they're full of little injokes for people who have played shows before, while with this game it feels like just a vague approximation of what a concert is.

This game will probably play fine but the venue looks empty and the characters look gross and stiff and it makes me not see what the point in making a new proper game is.

I’ve never played this game in my life but I fucking LOVE the shitty country versions of all of the songs, especially Spoonman
