The customer asked me to redo the keycaps with the legends in the same size (and I took the opportunity to pick a better font) and Iβm really happy with the results.

There's a Yemeni coffee shop that opened near me, and all of their mugs and trays and so on are really nice.
Opinion: Bluesky is a dangerous echo chamber because no one wants to hear from me, specifically
I tried Turkish coffee with sugar and it wasnβt bad but it was a reminder of why (health concerns aside) I donβt normally put sweetener in my coffee or tea. If itβs quality (which this is), it doesnβt need sugar.
Like, between a tournament and a casual game chess has the same rules, but the overall experience is very different. Iβm not sure what to do with this information, but itβs interesting.
Clockwork Avocado Press now has its own domain name (clockworkavocado.com), and I have a new post, a meditation of the loss, the Wizard of Oz, David Lynch, and the isekai genre.

I beat the second Axon boss, which was maddening until I belatedly learned about what the Lumina system. Once you've used a Picto in 4 battles, you can get that effect by assigning points, so you can make every character immune to charm effects.

If you do a task that has a relatively limited number of keystrokes involved, a dedicated macropad can be a great way to efficiently handle it. Also there was one job where I was able to set up an Xbox controller to enter all the keystrokes I needed for it lol.
An Etsy customer is having me make custom macropads for sorting vinyl records, and I finally finished 3D printing the keycaps. I ended up using 14 types of filament in all, and had to order 5 spools of additional colors to get all the shades of yellow and green.
Also, by introducing me to "putain," this game has doubled the number of French curse words I know.
It turns out there's also Turkish tea (Γ§ay), usually a variety called Rize, named for the province of Turkey where it's grown. It seems like a fairly typical black tea, maybe a little smoother than English breakfast tea, but Turkish teacups (ince belli) are kinda gorgeous so of course I ordered some
Also, Wikipedia describes it as having a "dark fantasy Belle Γpoque setting," and more of that please.
I really hope Sandfall Interactive does some kind of sequel/successor to Clair Obscur (or even a Persona-style enhanced remake), because as good as it is overall, there are countless places where it could be more refined.
Also, particularly in older editions, D&D is rife with character options that make intra-party conflict more likely. Lots of canonical racial hatred, and whole classes required to have certain morals that readily clash with others.
King, you know, the office that the vast majority of countries removed from power centuries ago.
Also I kinda want "multiplayer-only" to be a pejorative. The guys who did great campaign modes in Halo just kinda forgot that single-player and coop play can be valid and enjoyable. But FPS games started making me nauseous a few years ago, so I can't really play them regardless.
I was already giving Marathon a pass on account of it being a multiplayer-only FPS, but this sounds truly awful. blog.aurahack.ca/marathon-rep...
I'm really liking Clair Obscur overall, but even playing on Easy I'm going to have to go grind at least 10 levels before I take another stab at taking on the second Axon.
I need to get better at managing stress, but one of the more common things I yell at misbehaving objects is "Why is this a problem all of a sudden?!"
I think I need to have fewer parts of my life be mediated by technology, mainly because technology somehow lost the ability to work consistently. It used to be that stuff basically worked until it died, but now most tech will just kinda forget how to do its job now and then.
If he thinks 115g of sugar is too much (and it probably is TBH), I have bad news about, you know, food in America in general. Dunkin is not an outlier except insofar as donut chains donβt normally have cult followings.
Theyβve both *falsely* accused him of that. Itβs kinda implied given whoβs saying it, but itβs good to be clear on that part.
Dammit. Microsoft's AI nonsense is bad enough, there's no need to make stuff up. www.windowscentral.com/microsoft/wi...
I havenβt been. What the hell did you DO, Pat?
I thought I laughed a lot watching Naked Gun, Fackham Hall, Toxic Avenger, and Deathstalker, so I dunno why he thinks laughter needs to βcome back.β
Unfortunately these days first person games make me too nauseous to play, but I was a big fan of Halo. I wouldβve been down for basically anything Bungie did *as long as it was single-player*, but since parting with Microsoft theyβve apparently become a developer of online-only games exclusively.
Trans is not a verb and Iβm pretty sure trans people will generally be the first to say that transition should never be forced.
Does Satya Nadella *want* people to switch to Linux? Is he trying to boost sales of Macs? Apparently Microsoft is doubling down on everything people hate about Windows 11.

I want to see about getting some proper Turkish coffee cups, but I have successfully made Turkish coffee at home (or successfully by my newbie standards).
Next on the Clockwork Avocado Press blog/newsletter, a look at Stardust the Super Wizard (one of the strangest early #superheroes) and his creator, Fletcher Hanks (who was a terrible person). clockwork-avocado-press.ghost.io/you-shall-be...
