i did, in fact, enjoy ZZ more. it has got some serious problems, but it pulled everything together in the end, and ended up being pretty enjoyable overall. also put zeta's flaws into perspective, so zeta has been moved down to D tier.

ahhh see I've actually been watching gundam dubbed. i kinda had a feeling that maybe zeta would be better subbed but i tried watching an episode subbed and it really didn't help much. i know ZZ isn't dubbed so I'll be sure to double check which sub I'm watching.

glad to not be the only one. and yeah, there are definitely aspects of it that i liked, but it's dragged down by the poor pacing, stilted dialogue, some weird thematic elements, and frankly really boring mobile suit battles. it really puts into perspective how ahead of its time 0079 was.
