I wish this was the same for data tests (vs unit tests). If I codegen my data tests I will have so much noise and spend all my time working through them. 1% of rows have null values. Is that bad, acceptable, or expected? The hard part in data quality isnโt increasing test coverage.

Google AI Overview Search results for โJay Graber husbandโ which states that she โis a woman not a man and therefore does not have a husbandโ
First part was fine but lost me somewhere in the middle.

I seem to recall professional writers discussing novelty as a boost. If you always write on a laptop, switch to hand written. Once coffee shop gets old, do outside, then floor desk. Something about making it different makes brain go โletโs do this!โ

After Censorship, Santa Rosa Students Write Their Own Play โ and Take the Gold | KQED
A state festival awarded top honors to โREDACTED,โ which ruthlessly lampooned district officials.
School play gets canceled for "inappropriate content".
In response students write [REDACTED], their own anti-censorship play skewering the school district, sells out performances, and ultimately takes gold at the Lenaea High School Theatre Festival.

Screen capture of article that lists four significant challenges when working with CSV files, with 1 being schema management, 2 being row-level errors, 3 being encoding issues and no 4th item.
Donโt leave me hanging? Whatโs the 4th challenge with csvโs?!
Seriously in csv hell and I need all the wisdom I can get.

I have no idea how they do the math. "You are 56 out of 80 holds with 2 copies available". 3 days later "your copy is ready!"

400 clicks later I'm down to about 10 newsletters that are basically my online friends.
But I'm also mad at substack - those are 400 clicks I could have used to craft something in Satisfactory.

I hit 65 total hours today and am grateful it's feeling a bit grindy at the moment so it's a tiny bit easier to step away.

I somehow subscribed to 90 substacks, and trying to clean them out is my weekend project. It might span a few weekends if I can't find a way to do it in less than three clicks for each newsletter.

People have been dunking on this, rightly, and I would like to extend the same sentiment to making websites. Yeah, making a really great website is a lot of work these days. So make a terrible website and have fun with it.

Is it a bear in bull clothing fighting another bear? Or maybe itโs half-bear, half-bull fighting a smaller full bear?
Is itโs a metaphor for the financial markets for 2025?
Or kinda like March, 2025 comes in as a bull and goes out as a bear?
