Chotiner: And you have how many tabs open?
Me: Oh, well, I haven't counted, but...
Chotiner: Would you say it's more than 20?
Me: Sure, it might be, but I'm using all of them.
Chotiner: So you remember what all of them are, then?
Me: Listen...

Julian: Not talking is pretty much my specialty.
I continue to be gobsmacked at 1) how common this formulation is 2) how antisemitic and generally bigoted it is 3) and how for all the talk of anti-semitism this is never cited as an example even though itβs quite literally the original incarnation.

You guys this is a massive deal, a further attack on reproductive justice, safety and dignity.
Every human being deserves the right to have kids, not have kids & parent kids they have in safe & sustainable communities.

What do "gnaw", "gnat", "knight", "knot" & "know" have in common?
You're saying them all wrong.
At least, according to Old English, which voiced the initial consonants.
Take "knight", from German 'Knecht'. There's a distinct sound for the digraph (two letters) -kn.
Not "kuh-necht", "kn-echt."

Female #kakapo are utterly focussed on their chicks. Stella came back to the nest while I was checking her very young chicks two nights ago. Apparently unconcerned by me being there, she jumped in and started brooding them in front of me. #conservation #parrots #birds #kakapo2026
When assessing #kakapo chicks we weigh them, check their respiration rate and hydration. We usually do this twice in the first four days (this chick is less than a day old), and then every 5-7 days. The frequency of checks depends on their genetic priority. #kakapo2026 #conservation #parrots

It is so damning of US news media that so many outlets refuse to just straight up say that Senator Tim Sheehy assaulted an activist.
He did not "help" Capitol police. They did not need his help. He wanted to assault the guy and did. He should resign.
Weird how when a The Magnus Archives edgelord dirtbag leftist quote tweets your account you end up deluged with posters and kiddies in the notifications.

The cross-sectional views highlight varying arrangements of dark, petal-shaped internal cavities. The illustration includes scientific names such as Bifulstra Argus, Bifulstra aequalis, B. variabilis, B. fragilis, and Bifulstra Royana, emphasizing detailed morphology for paleontological study. The background is beige, with fine stippling and shading for texture and depth.

Today, AG Rayfield and a multistate coalition are filing a brief in court defending the Affordable Care Actβs (ACA) guarantee of no-cost contraception coverage by employer health care plans. The underlying lawsuit challenges federal regulations that expand religious and moral exemptions to allow employers to strip workers of guaranteed, no-cost coverage for birth control and other contraceptive care and services.
More than 80% of women ages 18-49 report having used some form of contraception in the past 12 months. With contraception costing an average of $584 per user per year, these unlawful regulations could shift an estimated $73.8 million in costs to consumers and put personal, economic, and public health at risk. States will also face significant financial strain as they are forced to expend millions of dollars for replacement contraceptive care and services through state-funded programs.
