I know there will be some people who will flame me for this, so I just want to clarify. This is highly unlikely but has potential. There are some pretty decently sized gaps in Sonic Lore surrounding Infinite and The End as well as some strings that could connect them. It'd be cool if it was true tho

Now I know Infinite was a normal mercenary until getting the Phantom Ruby, but where did the Phantom Ruby come from? I mean yeah, Eggman made it, but out of what? Further more, Infinite seemed to be bonded to the Ruby, to the point where, when the ruby was called back, Infinite disappeared.

Further more, Infinite had the ability to store and recreate someone's physical appearance but not their conscience while Cyber Space has the ability to store and recreate someone's conscience but not their physicality. The perfect counters to one another.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more likely it seems. Both Infinite and Cyber Space have a glitchy techy effect as well as a Red and Black theme. And let's not forget Null Space, the most useless thing, legit added for one little bit, where did that even come from?

Definitely recommend doing this, the dialogue you get during the fight are so intriguing for lore fans. I have so many questions now. One of the lines is, "I am infinite." Now while that's likely talking about immortality, wouldn't it be cool if they actually meant they are Infinite from Forces?

Also, fyi, to get the true Final Boss Fight, you have to be playing in Hard Mode. Luckily you can switch difficulties at any time, so just play normally on what you want, then, right before you get the 6th Emerald on the final island, switch to hard mode.
