The Passenger Information System on BART’s train cars is being updated to show major transit transfer connections at stations as part of a larger effort to make it easier for riders to navigate the Bay Area’s transit systems.
The time it took to cross bridges and tunnels into Manhattan last week between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. was shorter on average than in January 2024
“The data seemed to confirm what some New Yorkers have said they have already noticed: fewer traffic jams, less honking and more curbside parking on some blocks in and near the congestion pricing zone.”

In 2023, ALL of America's largest metro areas saw positive economic growth!
The fastest growers were OKC (+6.9%), Seattle (+6.2%), Houston (+5.4%), New Orleans (+5%), and Charlotte (+4.7%)

Fastest: Florida (23.5%), Idaho (23%), Utah (21.8%), Arizona (19.9%), Texas (19.5%)
Slowest: North Dakota (-0.2%), Hawaii (1.7%), Alaska (3.5%), Louisiana (3.8%), Illinois (3.9%)
As I've been saying: Rise in RTO mandates is a sign that the labor market is softening. RTO is effectively a backdoor pay cut, which firms would not do unless they thought workers had less bargaining power (and/or are trying to reduce headcount)
