I put my MacBook Pro up for sale on ebay, and have a Framework desktop mainboard (Ryzen™ AI Max+ 395 - 128GB) being delivered next week. I think the HW for the MacBook Pro is amazing, but it's married to a walled garden which I don't like. It shipped just 15 hours after I ordered it 🤯💜

I have been diving into AI a lot the past couple of months.

A couple of days ago, I did an hour-long presentation at work (51 slides).

I went from micro (how LLM models generate tokens and are trained) to macro (productivity studies, Moltbook shenanigans, injection attacks). It was rushed! 😂

Yeah, a lot of the questions for me is "it depends". As long as silicon valley has no say in the how (not profit driven).
