That inference doesn’t follow at all. What I said is that taking a less zionist position on Gaza would have won her some votes, but lost her others. And that it probably would have cost her more votes than it won her.
In other words, she still would’ve lost, possibly by more.
there are still a lot of PEP voters who would have busted a gasket if a Dem POTUS candidate had started backing away from Israel, & opened a huge line of attack from the GOP. Plus, how much leftward movement would’ve netted how many votes? Who do you negotiate with politically over a new position?

From an electoral perspective, staking out a new position WRT Israel/Gaza would’ve been at best a wash and more likely a net loser. Younger & more lefty ppl are less reliable voters than older more liberal/centrist. & believe it or not
