Screenshot of my DOGE letter “Dr. Joseph Rezek Dear NEH Grantee, This letter provides notice that the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is terminating your federal grant (Grant Application No. FEL29509824) effective April 3, 2025, in accordance with the termination clause in your Grant Agreement. Your grant no longer effectuates the agency's needs and priorities and conditions of the Grant Agreement and is subject to termination due to several reasonable causes, as outlined in 2CFR§200.340. For instance, NEH has reasonable cause to terminate your grant in light of the fact that the NEH is repurposing its funding allocations in a new direction in furtherance of the President's agenda. The President's February 19, 2025 executive order mandates that the NEH eliminate all non-statutorily required activities and functions. See Commencing the Reduction of the Federal Bureaucracy, E.O. 14217 (Feb. 19, 2025). Your grant's immediate termination is necessary to safeguard the interests of the federal government, including its fiscal priorities. Any objections or appeals to this termination will be managed in strict accordance with the President's Executive Orders,
Last year, this guy (left) from DOGE used ChatGPT to find NEH grants that were too “DEI” for Trump, and canceled them, including mine, as shown by the letter I received last April (right). Huge new NYT article on the back story link below
Better yet: go away.
…thereby ensuring that the world of their children - and what’s left of the world of their own childhood - goes to sh**.
“The suit, filed by the Public Integrity Project, a law firm that seeks to raise the “reputational cost of corruption in America,” argues the deal violates a law intended to prevent the spread of Chinese government propaganda and has enriched Trump's allies.” www.nbcnews.com/politics/jus...
they lie every single time
it’s always murder, they’re always smearing the victim in order to cover for themselves
DHS statements should be treated, presumptively, as the exact opposite of the truth
not exaggerations, not inaccurate - brazen, total lies
So according to the WSJ a US Senator conspired with another country to manipulate the US into starting a war, am I getting this right
It is really a low water mark to be at war with the one of the worst regimes on Earth and manage to come away as the callous and undignified party.
Interesting how there’s no disclosure in this piece highlighting Polymarket that the WSJ has a partnership with Polymarket

We don’t call them child-beaters even if they are beating their child. We just say this will not do and inform the authorities. Which would have been useless a century ago because the authorities didn’t mind beating up a child. That’s the point. We have to mind (again) not vaccinating your child.
It‘s a question of the stance here. You would never say to a parent who beats up or psychologically abuses their child: We get that you are tired and have some legitimate questions about the feasibility of non-violent methods to raise children, let’s discuss your worries..
it’s because of people like this piece of shit with over 30k followers telling people “it’s ok if you question vaccines” that we have children dying of preventable diseases
Sure. The whole quote sounds a little different.
Trump's Iran war makes the case for the energy transition to renewables for most countries much clearer and immediate. @pkrugman.bsky.social 1/
The concluding section of the article, which notes that marriage equality activists accepted "half-measures like civil unions" as intermediate steps, whereas the future of trans rights remains "fragile" and "up for debate."
The fundamental difference here is that trans people are not asking for something new, we're asking for our current protections to not be stripped away. Bostock is the already the law of the land. Access to gender affirming care or even competing in sports were available for decades.
Mayor Mamdani and a child play with Legos while looking very serious and concentrated. The child is impossibly adorable and wearing tiny blue glasses.
No interruptions, please. We’re building universal child care.
„Nach Angaben einer mit den Ermittlungen vertrauten Quelle bei der Polizei sollen die Videoaufnahmen der BVG keinen tätlichen Angriff auf Al-Mashhadani zeigen. Laut Dokumenten, die der taz vorliegen, ermittelt die Polizei gegen den Schuldirektor wegen falscher Verdächtigung.“ taz.de/Mutmassliche...
Don’t quote-post me, @stemgal.bsky.social, if I can’t answer nor re-quotepost you, jesus! That‘s one thing on Bsky that drives me nuts! We‘re pretty much amongst ourselves here. The bad people are over there. So let’s talk to each other, especially when we go into each other’s mentions.
He looks like a little boy at a table that’s too high for him.
"As a reporter, Estefany honestly and courageously told real stories about the harms caused by ICE and the people they targeted and detained."
...and then plunder their country.
A young boy sits at a small table, eating from a bowl with a spoon. There is a potted plant on the table next to him. The room has a simple decor.
6 March 1939 | A Dutch Jewish boy, Willem Philip van Naarden, was born in Amsterdam.
In March 1944 he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber after selection.

Heartbreaking.
It's so unnecessary. Show some respect, show some appreciation. And the rest will follow. Black voters know best what's at stake.
That's my suspicion as well.
