Pokopia's localization has the opposite problem of the modern Dragon Quest games (and specifically Builders) where I kind of wish they'd push the accents a *little* bit more

Dragon Quest Builders 3 is fantastic as expected but holy it's a productivity vacuum. I need to lay off for thr next few days.

The Dragon Quest Builders games are some of my favorite explicitly or dubiously nonchalant spin offs and the liberties they take make them some of the more interesting DQ plots imo despite mainly existing to serve gameplay

Not too strange when the Pokemon games encourage self inserts. What was arguably more strange is that they kept Ash around for so long

Sakurai likes pulling together new teams for each new project instead of leading existing ones because he's an independent entity. He's worked with Bamco a lot recently but it doesn’t make sense for him to have a permanent team

I just didn't buy the ports tbh but the DKC Returns port is much more egregious imo
