Disk Jockey Disk Jockey, a disk image file maker for your retro stuff

It's available here: diskjockey.onegeekarmy.eu/windows/

It runs on Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 for x86, x64 and arm64. It requires .NET 6 but, if you don't have it installed, you can grab a larger but self-contained version.

Disk Jockey for Windows has been updated!
Version 1.6 adds support for the Snow emulator and lets you inject HFS and ProDOS partitions from other Mac disk images into your own (you're no longer limited to simple .img or .image files).

See your files' data as hex, preview their contents when possible (for example: read your AppleSoft Basic listings directly or check out Atari ST images in Degas format).

It still runs on Mac OS 10.13 and up (many bugs fixes for the older versions). And it's still free.

Disk Jockey Disk Jockey, a disk image file maker for your retro stuff

Disk Jockey v4 for macOS is out!

A better interface, a brand new Inspector for your files and support for more formats (NDIF, UCSD Pascal, Atari ST hard drives and more).

Your friendly neighbourhood Disk Jockey has been updated to easily create images for the great new Snow emulator (with multiple partitions if that's your jam).

A blue and yellow BlueSCSI DB25

Hey BlueSCSI fans in the EU! There's a new case colour for the DB25 model.
It's yellow and blue like the Ukrainian flag and its cost (5โ‚ฌ) will be donated to the fundraising platform of Ukraine (United24, u24.gov.ua) to participate in the Education and Science cause.

(Link to the store in my bio)

Terrible sound card. Super hard to put in the ISA slot. Very grating. Not recommended.

An Apple PowerCD CD player on a workbench with a pair of headphones and the box of the CD "Relationship of Command" by At the Drive-In.

This is a freshly repaired Apple PowerCD from 1993. It reads audio CDs, photo CDs and can act as a SCSI CD-ROM drive (1x!). The first Apple gadget that could function without a computer attached to it.

I didn't realise how much I missed the physicality of CDs (I can feel your stare, vinyl fans).

A Canadian gentleman from a forum had a few custom made and I lucked out.
I don't know who his supplier is, though.

From 1979, here's Microvision!

I furiously envied the friends who owned one but, as a reasonable adult man, I now have one.

I just finished replacing its screen which suffered from the dreaded screen rot.

Time to bowl!

Halt and Catch Fire (love the opening credits with the bit-looking spark igniting stuff on time with the amazing tune) and then Micro Men because European computer culture is my whole childhood.

An Atari STE turned on and showing the title screen of the game Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade from 1989.

Is this fast-paced, always connected modern world getting you down? Do you miss the fragrant smell of plastic being warmed up by an internal power supply and a Motorola 68000? Do you feel that nazis don't get punched nearly enough lately?

The Atari STE is the cure for it all.
