So sad to share that legendary colorist Tatjana Wood has passed away at the age of 99. Her pioneering painterly touch graced scores of DC & Vertigo series. She was truly one of a kind and a special friend. May her memory be a blessing.

After Spring Break I'm going to go into class and ask my MLIS students how they would catalog a book with the pages cut out to hide a gun. What MARC fields would you need? 📚

Libraries, easy. They buy the books and if they're checked out a lot, they sometimes buy extra/replacement copies. Plus they are a public good that should be supported.

(Used bookstores are cool too! Local economy ftw!)

Part of why I am insistent that public libraries must be expanded is because they can offer us a foundation for unleashing creativity and for nurturing imagination. This is an affirmative project at a time when we desperately need to be FOR things and not just against them.
