Too many forget that animal anatomy is not human anatomy.
Heels are not knees. They're just the result of longer or shorter limbs. And in a transformation context, backward knees don't exists!

But sadly, it's like speed limit. Even if you know you can drive safely, you'll end up paying for those who drive irresponsibly.

Ex:
Not labelling NSFW material with the mentality "Don't look at it if you don't like it"

Making mainstream UDTF, rape TF, scatophilia, goro, genocide macro, hate vore, etc

I can't blame them and sadly, furry have only themselves to blame.
Anything can be a fetish. But if you can't self moderate and blame other instead, you'll only make you and the other bad.

There are plenty of fetishes that went overboard and are simply accepted in the community.

I think this is the issue of many other community leaning their way. It's a cult mentality and they see any attack against one of them as an attack against all of them. So they will accept anyone, anything, as long it help grow their group. Only the EXTREME cases get condemned. Sad really.

For me I would say neither.
As both were mostly distributed by Scholastic, the books weren't as accessible to us francophone back then.
I grew up more with the Choose your own adventure series of books (and a french exclusive one focused on TF).

And it's something else the US are trying to export and that doesn't pass well.
For example, putting tips on EVERY terminals, US based rate (20% +), pressuring with comments, etc.
Laws even had to be passed to remove those malpractice.
Mostly, only waiter and delivery gets tips, when it's charged.
