Mind you, this is anecdotal as I only briefly did that myself, but I've read about tons of issues in the past
Keep in mind if these are steam games it's not recommended (unless things have changed since a while back) to play them from your Linux OS unfortunately!

Or what was easiest for me was opening the developer console with alt+` and typing "displayfpsfull", that makes the lobby screen display correctly without too much hassle.
It's not ideal but other than that in game I have no issues at all!
The vulkan changes - if I understood it correctly - could mean the end of the Bolt launcher if Jagex decides to stop using OpenGL. There's some jankiness I have with the regular Jagex Launcher too but primarily in the lobby, so if you black screen on the lobby make sure to right click to see things
I usually prefer the Bolt launcher but on Nvidia + Wayland there's some significant performance issues with RS3 at the moment, there is a workaround for it which I can help you with. Currently I primarily use the regular Jagex Launcher for RS3: github.com/nmlynch94/co...
Welcome to Linux! Steam worked well but the Jagex Launcher works best for me (some problems with Nvidia & Wayland). If you have any issues feel free to send me a message
