Yesterday, both people ahead of me in line at CVS left without picking up their meds due to cost. An incredibly depressing state of affairs.

Super excited for this Boston innovation event tonight organized by Steven Wardell; will be sharing a few remarks focused on importance of cultivating agency to enhance health; I view the DPP developed by my clinical diabetes mentor David Nathan at MGH as compelling example. @lisamjarvis.bsky.social

Also, you might find this look at the broader challenge of the "science" around the pursuit of precision health interventions interesting -> timmermanreport.com/2025/08/seek... . Most every health platform ostensibly offering (and "now-with AI!")-but actual ability to offer this usu way overstated.

Perhaps not surprisingly (since he was my clinical mentor for the diabetes component of my endocrinology training), I entirely agree w David Nathan's perspective as captured in your excellent piece.

Hey @lisamjarvis.bsky.social - CGM for non-diabetics seems to be another attractive idea for "precision" better in theory than in practice, as discussed in detail in @kevinh-phd.bsky.social @juliabelluz.bsky.social book "Food Intelligence"; I discussed here -> timmermanreport.com/2025/10/food....

Impt to distinguish betw indefensible extensive assoc w epstein & much of additional critique which includes ton of simmering resentment from jealous aspirational influencers over Attia's outsized success; his bk has issues but also has inspired many productively; useful view of uncertainties/risk.

surprised to hear this - at least where i grew up (SW Connecticut), these birds and chickadees, as i recall, were frequent visitors at our feeders - goldfinch less frequent (before we switched to thistle seed). Recognize having a bird feeder likely anathema to true birders... but great memories.
