7/ π‘ Small- and medium-sized firms are increasingly using apprenticeships to recruit AI talent, but large sponsors still account for most programs. Broadening access requires more support for smaller organizations to offer these opportunities.
6/ π£ Diversity matters: AI apprenticeships are outperforming other tech fields in recruiting Black apprentices. In 2022, the number of Black apprentices nearly equaled that of White apprentices. However, gaps persist for women and Hispanic workers.
