A slender green narrowboat rests quietly in a moss-lined lock, embraced by ancient brick and timeworn water. Back cruising on the cut on NB Hawksmoor. After weeks of warm sun the wind and rain have arrived so a short cruise from marina. Time for life to slow down to 3 miles an hour.

A solitary bloom emerges from shadow, its delicate petals whispering silver against the void—like moonlight gathering in silence, untouched and eternal.

Started doing a 52 week photo challenge - this weeks challenge is over or underexposed - here’s my attempt this week.
