On the way back from the 2012 RSGB Convention with G7MRV stopped at Copt Oak / Bardon Hill (SOTA G/CE-004) 250m ASL and caught a beautiful tropo duct across the North Sea into The Netherlands. Needed no more than 5w for 5/9 using FM on the Yaesu 7800. Happy days! #144mhz #RSGB #tropo #144mhzdx #dx

144mhz contest April 2010 with G7MRV at Barlow Common, Selby. FT290mk1 QRP with the MuTek front end and ‘something’ up the army Clansman field mast… Nice day out, worked many stations.
