Hard to imagine how Xbox as we know it still exists in the next decade. Have to imagine Microsoft will complete the pivot into being a third party game publisher and exit the hardware business, maybe maintain Gamepass for PC.
I think the vision of what Phil Spencer wanted to create with Xbox was admirable but it’s been death by a thousand cuts that stopped them from getting there, and no doubt operating within the Microsoft corporate structure is a nightmare.
Tanner this is a gen 3 game.
Another case of a studio with a tremendous track record being pigeonholed into a live service game and then being punished for not being able to get it off the ground. But I'm sure all the executives on the Sony side that hard pivoted to live service are being equally punished.

How did the news organisations covering the Fuck ICE chants on AEW know what they meant without a video package?
Clearly a bottom ten percent Nintendo Direct ever - the idea of old games being ported to Switch 2 just isn't as exciting as it was with Switch 1. You can't build a whole presentation around them with like two new things sprinkled in.

Shoutout to the 14 other people with the good sense to put this first.
I also think part of it is a lot of wrestling media don't want to give off the perception that they were "worked" by wrestling by admitting they emotionally invested in it, so they speak in very detached mechanical terms.
