Just realized the horror that I can prove (via internet archive) that I gave SHREK a 3/10 upon release but I have no photographic or digital evidence that I did vote for Harris.

But then what do we do about haricot verts. You see, itβs the haricot verts that always throws a wrench into things.
Sunrise over the Italian Alps from a hill in Livigno. Some thick clouds and a little sunlight peeking through over snowy mountains.
Ciao, Livigno
Congrats! Love hearing stories like thisβ¦
Sixtine Cousin: Swiss ski cross athlete, or Jerry Lee Lewis biopic? YOU DECIDE
Nice write-up; I like the comparison between FMJ and the duels in BL.
Do you happen to know if this HFA series will lend out prints to go on the road and screen elsewhere? Sort of like the traveling Wong Kar-wai rereleases? Would LOVE to see them in Los Angeles.
Afternoon at Big Air, before the weather blew in
A monitor shot of a skier in the middle of a snowstorm
Weatherβs been insane. How it started, how itβs going
Iβm a tape producer (ie replays, behind the scenes, interviews, playback, medals) for three events: Big Air (ski and snowboard), PGS (snowboard), and Cross (ski and snowboard). Menβs and womenβs and mixed team.
Thanks for watching! β€οΈ
This is pretti, pretti good
TIL a new Romain Gavras movie called SACRIFICE starring Chris Evans, Anya Taylor-Joy, Salma Hayek, and Vincent Cassel, and co-written by a SUCCESSION scribe, premiered at TIFF last year and is coming out August 20. I'm ready to snort this movie off a mirror.
Robert Duvall and Tom Cruise in a still from the NASCAR movie Days of Thunder by Tony Scott.
RIP to a legend. (BTW Cruise is now 5 years older than Duvall was when they filmed this).
Update: the weather has not permitted. Perhaps Eileen will not Gu at all tonight.
Giant ramp for big air at the Winter Olympics in Livigno, Italy. Dusk setting, mountains in background.
Letβs do some Big Air tonight (weather permitting). Disappointed by the pedestrian signage for the defending gold medalist. Havenβt seen a single βCome on, Eileen! Letβs Gu!β
It's probably my second favorite after INDUSTRY
Walking back to my hotel up a steep hill in the snow and 12 degrees Fahrenheit is kinda miserable! Next time I demand mild temps and fake snow. (Beijing was nice and dry, even though temps were low). Iβm also a wimp from living in Los Angeles for so long.
In my experience yes, it's a combination of light and the native limitations of the film stock. It's possible they improved it over time (haven't seen any of the new Kodak or ORWO stocks; Fuji discontinued) but to get the best out of it, pummel it with sunlight.
I shot my student film on 16 & decided to write a script that required only day exteriors (in Miami) for that reason. With enough sun, wide shots were great. It helped that I chose a Fuji stock that outperformed Kodak in daylight. A professor remarked that my film showcased wides better than most.
Thelma Schoonmaker is a huge flex imo (or maybe just to us Scorsese nerds)
Your school is loaded with big names. Iβve got Jack Sock and a guy from Real World: Miami.
Some super dramatic races, youβll dig it. Unfortunately the athletes didnβt want to wear the goggle cams so we only got one shot in from it.
Baumgartner repping well for the old Americans (heβs 44).
THE LITTLE GIRL WHO LIVES DOWN THE LANE
I think the Zoomers are really into Friends. Itβs one of the highest rated shows on Netflix annually. But point taken.
@noelmu.bsky.social Youβll wanna check out menβs snowboard cross today. Weβve added a spyder/cable cam (imagine the drone that can go to the end of the course) as well as 4 goggle cams from athlete POV. Pretty sick stuff.
Louis has more name recognition than Matt LeBlanc?
Check out the ones we used on big air last night. Awesome stuff.
I forgot both Kasich and Lake existed, but Kasich must be so glad that Lake humiliates herself with this loathsome reply, because it distracts from the fact he made a baseball analogy about a football game.
She only did this because Yorgos directed the ad. He also did the upcoming George Clooney one too.
His presence is inexplicable in literally everything heβs ever done in life. Heβs a zero entity.
Iβm currently doing production on several snowboard and freeski events in Livigno: Big Air, Cross, and PGS. If you watch our coverage on Peacock, you wonβt see any of that primetime NBC crap! Skip the mothership and go right to the hubs!
