Why does a fab weekend away seeing loads of different friends make me so tearful come Monday morning? There’s nothing quite like going back to a place you once lived ❤️ anyone guess from this photo?!
Being a mum of boys means you must be able to:
1) make Yorkshire puds from scratch (aunt Bessie’s aren’t good enough)
2) be able to arm wrestle at request
3) participate in the “who would win in a fight…” game

Went out for an early dinner with extended family so I left YouTube dog tv on for the pup. We’ve been back for half an hour and me and three teens are still sat watching it 🤷🏻♀️
I could get used to this sunny weather ❤️ so good for the soul!
My anticipation of flight cancelation, changing hire car, booking early flight from diff airport for work/school, & hotel + navigating 4 hr trip in adverse weather, accidents etc paled into insignificance 4 my daughter compared to my screaming at my own reflection in hotel mirror
It’s been a tough week but last night gave me a much needed boost. Watching my daughter and one of her besties in their last ever JCG production was emotional. I’ve never seen that pair so serious, still, scary and scouse. It’s always been the older brother than can do accents!
When you’re not as hardcore at shopping as the rest of the gang and need some timeout. It’s tooooo “peopley” and my colleague has me conditioned to tea at 3pm 😂
It’s the inbound and the gales 😬 last year I didn’t get there because of storm Ciaran!
So Jersey peeps am I going to be able to fly to Manchester today? Will the weather thwart my annual trip to meet my Manxies? I’m packed, excited and really need a girls’ trip away… reassurance needed!
Driving home tonight and saw my first house fully dressed for Christmas and for some reason that’s made me incredibly happy. So easily pleased….
