I’m still so ridiculously proud of my full sound experience of Tavern Tales’ Good Society. It’s tough trying to elevate my game and rely on only internal satisfaction without any external validation. But, almost 9 years of weekly podcasting means Im motivating myself enough as it is.
Look, The Pitt is great. It really is. But is it better than Acolyte? Maybe a little. But certainly not enough to earn the absolute rabid affection it has from society and the media… especially compared to what Acolyte got. It’s just a wall of The Pitt love everywhere I go.

But I learned from an early age when Pirates of the Dark Water was canceled that no show, no matter how amazing, was safe.
I really loved that show.
I still very much enjoy doing the wordle as the last thing before bed. It’s now been three years of wordling. (And I have still never failed out on a word)

I’ve watched a lot of SNL over the years, but has there really ever been anyone on the show with Jane Wickline’s energy. I love what she’s doing on the show and she reminds me of no one else.
Just wondering, for those that maybe listened to regular tavern tales and now the good society arc, how do you feel about the full sound experience? It takes me twice as long to produce a full sound episode - is it twice as good as the normal released production?
