Yikes. A few years back, I was trying my hand at offering beta reading services, which didn't turn out too well for me. I learned I was happier only beta for friends when asked. I'm also shit at marketing myself. Now I have a WIP on my own and would only ask people I absolutely trust to beta for me.

I DID IT! I CAUGHT UP WITH THE DANIEL FAUST SERIES! Took me the better part of 9 years (according to GR), but still.
I'm not a fan of horror personally, but this was a fun twist on the tropes spiced up with some heartachy moments and revelations.

This was my first book from Laura Purcell, and it's not like I hated it, because I didn't, I just found myself not being interested in picking it up again. I couldn't tell what made me feel that way, though. Probably wrong book, wrong time 🤷🏻‍♀️

February had been...a month. I was forced to slow down, so I couldn't overdo January, but I still managed 2K, so I'll take that. Current wordcount: 23.834. I only have 3 chapters to finish to be done with part 1! My soft deadline atm is the end of April for that.
