You know I know this Dan. I’m a regular listener to UP. Was being somewhat facetious as I know it’s logical, just a shame one of our best performers isn’t available to play as often as we’d hope/need this season.

He’s genuinely managed to have Rio starting but still crowbar Gakpo into the team.
I know Arsenal fans will likely enjoy every drop of Tottenham despair, but I think it would be a tragic story of corporate mismanagement & priorities being in all the wrong places should they actually go down.
The second point is what annoys me most.
So much of what he says emphasises the opposition influencing how we can play, rather than our approach being strong enough to have us impose ourselves on them.
After praising him for his communication last season, the press conferences from Slot have gotten worse and worse.

This is a PL season defined by risk averse football, set piece routines, poor officiating & widespread cheating from players across the league.
The sooner it’s done the better, irrespective of LFC’s end to the campaign.

Not sure about anyone else, but I always find it pretty wild when Arne Slot talks about a bad Liverpool performance like a fan doing a post-match video for YouTube as opposed to the man in charge of that performance.
