I think some schools probably do provide good paid for education. The one that Lini is sending her little one to has a bonza reputation. Sadly, the one granddaughter and her friend down the road go to isn't that good (nor is it that expensive!).

I used to be quite anal about setting the microwave clock to be correct. Then I got a wife who likes to turn things off at the wall for safety/to save money/to keep the ghosts away/just for the hell of it. Now it'd be a goshdarned miracle if the time was accurate.

This is my farang understanding of what my wife is telling me anyway. We also are changing schools for our granddaughter, I don't like the current one, she's had 2 bad teachers in a row (after the most PERFECT preschool teacher IN THE WORLD!). Stepdaughter had to fill out the request to leave.

Apparently they're 2 years behind in the fees. Don't know if the situation would have been better if they had changed earlier, when there was only 1 semester outstanding, probably not.
I find it astounding that you have to be "released" from your current school.

Girl down the road needs to change schools because the current one is too expensive. She's being prevented from changing until the semester fees are paid off. Which they can't afford to do. So, it's just going to keep adding on and on to the debt they already can't afford 😱
