I am such a baby. My husband just got back from a five-week deployment, and I never wanna do that again.
Please do not be the boy mom who thinks it’s somehow better or “easier” to pick up your son after his deployment instead of just taking the grandkids for a couple hours so his wife of nearly a decade can be the first to see him.
My toddler is climbing all over me, kneeing me in my already cramping uterus, and I said “Ouch! You’re hurting me!”
She just looked up at me, grinned, and said, “Don’t worry, Mommy! I’m okay!” 🙄🙄

He is just so into Wicked and claims he sounds just like Ariana Grande because we talked about smaller vocal folds making high notes easier. He’s heard me sing in choir at church and is finally starting to try to sing along with me in the pew next to him 🤞🏻🤞🏻
My son got a Wicked microphone toy that plays the end of Defying Gravity along with the mic feature. All I hear is him trying his best to sing the battle cry over and over. His pitch is, surprisingly, getting better. Still lowkey driving me nuts though.
