Longtime European 'ally', the USA, openly talks about seizing Greenland and is drawing up invasion plans.

At the same time, Russia is becoming more and more brutal in Ukraine.

Europe is being squeezed from two sides—unfortunately for them, it's making us more and more European.

The "rules based world order" is basically a dead group chat with these countries posting "guys???" every now and then and being left on read

International law is dead.

Let's move on.

Nearly all payments pass through Visa or MasterCard. This makes us vulnerable to American sanctions if we are too critical of some people.

Thanks to the EU's collective power, we are able to create our own digital payment system, the digital Euro, to not be vulnerable to the whims of oligarchs.

Wanneer grote mogendheden zoals China en de VS proactief en besluitvaardig zijn op het gebied van handelspolitiek, wordt de Europese openheid gemakkelijk uitgebuit.

What is clear: only a unified, more proactive EU can protect European industry. Unity will benefit all Europeans.

Currently, European markets are being flooded with subsidised Chinese goods, displacing European industry and threatening European jobs.

It's unacceptable that Europe became the dumping ground for Chinese goods after the Trump Tariffs.

Our relatively high wages and welfare system can be an advantage, as it increases demand. But when we are exposed to China and the US who don't play by the same rules, who hit us with unilateral tariffs or massive subsidies for their domestic industries, our increased demand is exploited.

Now it's official: European disunity makes Europe less competitive.

When major powers like China and the US are proactive and decisive about trade policy, European openness is easily exploited.

A recent FT article makes that clear: Europe's economy is not weak!

"Russia wants to see Ukraine succeed" Trump says when responding to Russia helping rebuild Ukraine. How magnanimous of him. Just like how Russia "rebuilt" Mariupol and Russifies it.
