I want to be able to be affectionate with my friends and partners, and honestly I'm a very physical person with affection, but sometimes the idea of touching another human being even a little bit makes me want to peel off every inch of my skin just to get away from the feeling and I don't know why.

Idk what part of my particularly fucked up brain does this to me but I'm guessing it's the same part that makes every massage I've ever gotten feel miserable and painful. I genuinely have no idea why people like them they hurt so bad and never relax me.

I wish people hugging me when I feel bad felt comforting because that seems to be what people intend, but when I'm upset it makes me so prickly and oversensitive to touch and getting hugs or even touches freaks me out really badly. I end up having to spend all my mental energy not freaking out.
